Delete your account
Ask us to delete your Visit Mozambique account and the data held with it. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need the app installed.
What is deleted
Your name, email address, phone number and password, your language and province preferences, your Tourism Pass, your reviews, and any trip the planner composed for you.
What is kept, and why
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Mozambican tax and audit law requires, and are then removed. A conservation contribution stays in the public transparency totals, where it is already anonymous. Licence and verification documents for a registered business or guide are kept for the period the Ministry sets. The security audit log is retained as a security record. Nothing kept is used to contact you or to rebuild a profile of you.
How it works
Send the request below. An officer at the Ministry verifies that the request comes from the account holder before anything is deleted, which is why this page records a request rather than deleting straight away. Expect the deletion to be carried out within 30 days.
